Flash games where always a passion for me. As far as I can remember, I always wanted to make games. At first I wanted to make board games, but as soon as my parents introduced me to the computer I was hooked.
I started making games using The Games Factory it was fun and easy, but it was too simple and hard to get it to the public.
Then I discovered Flash as I was 14. My computer science teacher started to teach me some actionscript and I was ready to go. My first Game was a Sheep farm simulator, with a bunch of circles. It was fun but I never showed it to anyone because it was not good enough. Then I just started getting better and better.

Hi louissi. I just wanted to say that I am 12 and im trying game maker and i wanted to ask you if its like the gamesfactory. Ive tried multimediafusion2, but I didn’t buy it, just took a class and burned a bad copy of my game
. now im working on a game with gamemaker and its very glitchy, so I wanna try flash. can you teach me how to code?

If your gamemaker game is very glitchy, it isn’t gamemaker’s fault. Those glitches are logical… you just have to find out what’s wrong. Sometimes I think: ‘this just has to work… but it doesn’t?! why not?! And a few days later I suddenly think ‘wait, I get it!’, and I improve it. This is part of the fun and how more you practice using gamemaker the faster you’ll sort things out. Although you can chose to use gamemaker without code, I use it with code. I’m 15 years old now and I can already code fun games with it, and it still has a lot more possibilities I never used. I think gamemaker is a great program to learn coding with, but I recommend you to buy the gamemaker book as it can be really hard to start out without it. And if you think you want to do more and can do more than you can do with gamemaker, then it’s the time for flash or something like that

I recommend you ask your questions on http://www.newgrounds.com forum. There is a lot of game makers there that are ready to help new guys.

I just gotta say, congrats on having such a great game and having a fairly large fanbase. It’s funny how so many people are literally desperate to play AOW2, me included. Keep up the good work

Game Maker’s good to start off with but if you want to make really complex games you have to do scripting. I don’t get flash coding either, i just make basic flash movies

you can code with gamemaker
using GML (game maker language)… you can create games like age of war using GML o.o

Can U Make Feudalism 3?
feudalism game as a huge potensial(sorry for the english) and it one of the most creative games ever!
if u dont see it yet u can find it in your job!(lol)

Hi, I just encountered a bug in Catapult Madness. When I played it, my laptop gone to hibernate mode and then I see the little unfortunate paysant fly up to 5368709 feet height.
